PTO NEEDS VOLUNTEERS THROUGHOUT THE YEAR

**You do not need to attend PTO meetings to volunteer at any event or help in any way!!**

The PTO hosts teacher lunches, the massive holiday craft fair in December (over 4000 shoppers!), events for students like our After Prom party, senior capping ceremony, and district art show reception, and so much more.

Please help us by volunteering to help at an event, donate food/drink, or do work in the background.

Check out the opportunities here

HELP THE PTO WITH A ONCE-YEARLY DONATION
In addition to using funds to host events, the PTO also funds over $10,000 in teacher grants. Please consider making a donation so that we can further elevate the level of academic excellence at CMHS, as well as create a fun atmosphere for our kids.

REGISTER ON THE PTO PORTAL
In order to receive ALL information about events throughout the year and to be included in our (optional) family directory, please register here on our website. You can provide as much or as little family information as you want, but you will stay in the know!!

Welcome

Welcome to the 2024-25 PTO at Cheyenne Mountain High School.  The PTO has much to offer parents who would like to stay in the know, and it all begins here, on our website.

Please make sure you REGISTER for the PTO parent portal/directory. Signing up is the ONLY WAY to receive ALL information about volunteer, fundraising, and event opportunities from the PTO!

The PTO at CMHS is open to everyone; YOU are welcome and encouraged to participate by attending meetings & events, providing financial support, & volunteering.  We aim for transparency, making our bylaws, leadership, and meeting minutes available here on the website.

Our mission contributes to the exceptional culture at Cheyenne Mountain High School; none of it happens without the tireless efforts of people working behind the scenes to put events together, take them apart, and clean it up after it's done.  So don't hesitate to get involved!

Finally, we especially thank our board, committee members and volunteers for their hard work & collaboration; they've worked tirelessly to help create the positive culture at Cheyenne Mountain High School.

Nicole Lucas and Tina Giovanielli, PTO Co-Presidents, 2024-2025

MISSION

The mission of Cheyenne Mountain High School’s Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO) is to create the kind of school community where teachers and administrators can do their best work and so can our children.  We provide services that enhance your child’s education and promote positive working relationships among students, parents and staff.  We give you a more direct voice in what happens at the school and offer opportunities to interact with the students and staff, meet other parents, and accomplish things that truly make a difference.

WE are building the kind of caring, fun atmosphere that makes school great.
