Grants Program

Staff of CMHS are invited to apply for grant funding for non-budgeted items.  A Grants Committee reviews applicants and provides funding based on criteria of the PTO.  The PTO awards over $10,000 annually to CMHS teachers and staff for vital teaching tools, equipment, and resources to make CMHS education even better! 

Staff Appreciation Week

May 2025

PTO invites families to show their personal gratitude toward the staff at CMHS, which could be in the form of written words, small girts, or coffee/treats in the staff break room.  In years past, the final day has been a catered or pot-luck luncheon.

District Art Show

April 2025

PTO provides art supplies and/or refreshments during the annual show.

Capping Ceremony

Spring 2025

An evening assembly for seniors and their guests in the days before graduation.  Attendees hear from a favorite staff member, and receive words of advice from the person they've selected to "cap" them.  Traditionally, the PTO's junior class representatives provide refreshments after the event in a social and celebratory setting.

Senior Breakfast

The Friday of spring finals week, 2025

PTO provides breakfast for the entire senior class immediately following graduation rehearsal.

Graduation Yard Signs

Spring 2025

A fundraising event organized & hosted annually by the PTO, which offers yard signs for purchase that display the name of the graduating senior.
